Custom Wedding Jewelry

2dangle was recently commissioned to design and create jewelery for a wedding. The bride lives on the west coast which I originally thought might be a little challenging due to the distance, however, she entrusted her Nashville based sister to be her liaison. The bride sent a piece of fabric from the bride’s maid dresses and that was really the only direction I was given. Thus I went on a hunt for the perfect stones. I created a unique pair of earrings for each of the four bride’s maids using amethyst stones. The picture above shows the special pair of earrings the I created. I also designed a bracelet to compliment the earrings.

White Ice

“White Ice” was inspired from my desire to make pearls a bit more contemporary. Almost 3 inches long, these earrings project a real dangle effect. Three sterling silver chains at three different lengths were used 2dangle the hand picked Swarovski crystals and cultured pearls. As with most of my creations, there is a small crystal accent at the top of each earring giving it my signature. “White Ice” will add a touch of elegance to any outfit from formal dress to a casual jeans look.

Scarlet

“Scarlet” was birthed out of my desire to create something for the holidays that would also work year round. The ruby colored Swarovski crystals were found through a search on line. When ordering stones from the internet, I never really know what they will actually look like until they arrive. Extremely pleased with the deep color of these crystals, I decided to enhance them by iodizing the Sterling silver wire. Using the iodized wire 2dangle the stones gives this pair of earrings a unique antique feel. “Scarlet” is sure to be noticed at any holiday event!

3 Pearls

The first piece that I am putting up for sale on the website is a pair of earrings which I call “3 Pearls”. This is one of my favorite creations as it is simple yet classy and elegant. The earrings were designed around fresh water pearls which I hand picked at a little boutique in Knoxville, Tennessee. Something I like to do is to mix in Swarovski crystals to enhance the stones and add a subtle glimmer. The glimmer sets these earrings apart from traditional pearl earrings adding an extra elegance to any ensemble. Sterling silver wires were used 2dangle the stones. “3 Pearls” is the perfect accessory for the upcoming holiday party season!
